Comfrey Balm contains sunflower oil, comfrey leaves and roots, beeswax, essential tea tree oil, incense and sage.

Comfrey has a very long and varied history of use. Because of its healing properties, people believed that comfrey originated from the garden of Eden.

Comfrey can help with many ailments including psoriasis, varicose veins, sprains, twists, arthritis, back pain, swelling, scratching etc.

The Latin term for comfrey is Symphytum Officinale, a fast growing herb that can reach up to 120 cm. It grows in Europe and Asia, usually on wet meadows and beside streams and rivers.

The herb is traditionally used for healing wounds and has anti-inflammatory action. It gets used on skin that is not damaged. As a healing part of the plant, the roots are harvested in spring or autumn. The roots are very fragile and black.
Tea, wraps, baths, tinctures, balms and herbal drops are prepared from comfrey.
